Welcome at the TRAINING RESOURCES’ page, where you can find the main resources that we will use during the testing phase in schools. The list of these resources includes the manual of good practices, recordings of various online meetings, videos from external links, manuals for assembling and using the OTTO kit.

In the same way we include reference to other projects consulted to develop our project. This can be a very useful tool to begin an specialized STEM investigation in State of the Art phase.

IMPLEMENTATION MANUAL OF INCLUSIVE TEACHING TECHNIQUES FOR STEM

The objective of this manual is to give teachers enough tools to help steam gender gap reduction. This techniques work around the following points:

  • Work to minimize Stereotypes. Stereotypes are generalizations about social attributions about a person because of their membership of a particular group.
  • Work to minimize stereotypes in teaching stem subjects.
  • Education for equality. Methodological proposals for approaching teaching-learning processes with gender perspective in educational centers.

ABOUT OTTO DIY ROBOT

The Otto DIY kit is a set of materials and components aimed at helping students learn about robotics and develop their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The kit includes an ARDUINO microcontroller, sensors, motors, gears, and other electronics that can be used to build a functional robot.

The Otto DIY robot is a gender-neutral design that can promote gender equity by encouraging girls to engage in STEM education. The robot provides a fun and creative way for girls to learn about robotics and coding, breaking down barriers to girls’ participation in STEM.

Additionally, the Otto DIY robot can challenge traditional gender stereotypes and promote diversity and inclusivity in the classroom. The kit can be used by students of different ages and skill levels and is often used in schools, after-school programs, and at home to introduce students to robotics and help them develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
